" I have recorded with many people over the years, too many to list but great memories. I have played and sung in every corner of the world with the exception of Africa.

I was in Chicago once and in the hotel gym I saw Carl Wilson working out. Boy, could he do sit-ups. Amazing really, given his girth. But there he was, 40,50,60, just not stopping. Mike came in with his son and started lifting weights. I went into the sauna later and sat next to Bruce. Throughout the time we were in there, about a half-hour, his hair didn't move an in inch. It didn't droop or sag even with all that heat and dampness. Now that's a hair-spray!

We were all at the same hotel, obviously, and after our respective gigs we, as bands normally do, went to the bar. I sat with Carl for about an hour or so and I told him I was doing backing vocals for Elton (John) and that we had a day off tomorrow and were they playing anywhere that I could go to. He then said where they were playing and, that I could go with them to the gig and GET UP AND DO SOME SINGING with them! I thought it was just the alcohol talking and didn't think he was serious.

Anyway, the following day I went out sightseeing and came back to the hotel and there was the message, telling me where to meet! But I was too late. We parted company the following day. I met Brian at the Universal Amphitheatre, Los Angeles where he came to see our show. He was a shell of a man but he looked great after all he'd been through.

Above I have listed my favourite "tracks" as opposed to singles. The singles would be; Fun, Fun, Fun; I get Around, California Girls, Do it Again and Good Vibrations."
